Concert 20h/u
'DIAMOND81 & THE LUCKY SKY', a name
clearly inspired by The Beatles. But not only are they influenced
by the Beatles, also Bob Dylan is very recognizable in their music.
The band, which has four members, recently recorded their first
demo and so far the reactions have been positive.
DIAMOND81's real name is Damien
van de Wyer. He plays the guitar, harmonica, sitar and
last but not least: he does the vocals. We also have Damien's
'Lucky Sky'. Thomas De Boeck plucks his guitar, Céline
Desrues handles the cello and the violin is reserved for Diane
Martin.
The acoustic tune they create with all those instruments is a
genre in between Folk and Folk-Rock.
Seven months after this band gave birth their first (not last,
nor least) gig is planned at 'l'Épicerie Audiovisuelle
du Bonheur' (Rue Antoine Dansaert 196, 1000 Brussels) on February
the 9th and begins at 8 PM. |
